I created a foldable stand made of LEGO that can hold thin, phone-sized devices and small tablets. First it was a holder for an iPod touch in a water-sealed plastic bag, which I would place at the bottom of the swimming pool for recording myself while swimming and analyzing stroke technique at home. That didn't work out very well. The stand is too light to remain steady in the face of underwater currents caused by the water circulation system of the pool. I now use it as a desktop stand for my phone. The colorful LEGO look of the stand sparks a lot of interest from almost everybody who sees it. And since it was my very first attempt at creating an underwater device I decided to share the design of the stand with the visitors of this website.
