This website serves as a public notepad for a personal project trying to develop a submersible drone. It all started with a foldable stand made of LEGO that I came up with to place a camera phone at the bottom of the swimming pool for swim stroke analysis. I quickly realized that I need a mobile camera platform that follows the swimmer in order to make truly useful videos. This kindled my interest in robotics on top of computer vision. Almost everything I learn I put on this website. The information I provide here may neither be correct nor complete. Nevertheless, I hope that it will be useful to others.

I'm Kai Oezer, a software engineer in Germany, interested in machine vision for robotics. My background is in electronics, computer graphics, and application development for Apple platforms and Linux. You can contact me via LinkedIn (requires log in) or via Twitter.
